2017 Yangcheng Lake Dark Horse Competition Semi-finals

The Black Horse Competition, the largest entrepreneurship and investment competition in mainland China, held its Taiwan preliminary round on September 19, 2017. This competition focused on smart hardware, Industry 4.0, and the biomedical industry. Xu Wenxiong, general manager of Chuangzhi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., won the first round of selection with his theme "Natural Deep Sleep Stress Relief Vitality Cabin" and represented Taiwan in the next round of group preliminary competition.

This competition was jointly organized by Kunshan Yangcheng Lake Science and Technology Park and Startup Black Horse Group. Startup Black Horse Group is a comprehensive startup service provider focused on helping innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises grow. Through a combination of online and offline models, it provides a variety of services to the entrepreneurial community, including startup information, membership services, startup mentoring services, offline events, and public relations.

In the preliminary round in Taiwan, 13 teams were selected and presented their projects to the judges in person. The topics covered fields such as smart hardware, Industry 4.0, and biomedicine. Eight winning topics were selected, including the "Natural Deep Sleep Stress Relief Vitality Chamber" presented by the General Manager of Creative Biotechnology, which advanced to the next round. Other topics representing Taiwan in the next round include AlphaGo CT, Ark Functional Mask, Smart Dynamic Simulation Scheduling System, ezOxygen Lung Capacity Wearable Device, Expression WiFi Startup Ecosystem, Smart City Solution Integration Service Platform, and VIER.
