The innovative team won the "Judge's Award" in the 2021 Digital Technology Solutions Competition.
This competition was organized by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
In recent years, the global pandemic has brought unprecedented changes to healthcare resources, making "telemedicine" even more essential and valuable. Therefore, the "Silent Killer" team proposed replacing traditional finger-clip devices with a ring-type detection device, utilizing pair-free data transmission and cloud-based AI to address a key aspect of telemedicine. In practice, this could achieve three benefits: reducing the burden on healthcare workers, decreasing the risk of infection, and providing real-time information access. Due to its innovativeness and uniqueness, the proposal was recognized by the judges and awarded the "Judges' Award."
