- What type of instrument is Ansteel?
Anstem is a device that uses CES (transcranial current stimulation) therapy. It has been used in the United States for over 35 years, is FDA-approved, and effectively relieves insomnia, anxiety, and pain. It is also approved by the Taiwan Medical Device Authority (TFDA) in Taiwan as a non-drug treatment.
- Is Ansteel certified in Taiwan? Is it safe?
Anstem has been approved by the US FDA and Taiwan TFDA for medical devices and has been used in the US for over 35 years, making it very safe.
- What is CES?
CES is transcranial microcurrent stimulation. It stimulates the brain with a very low microampere safe current, changes abnormal brain waves, and prompts the brain to secrete neurotransmitters related to emotions, sleep, pain, etc. By affecting the central nervous system, it balances the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and helps the brain gradually return to its natural discharge state.
- How long does it take to feel the effects of using CES?
Some usersFirst time usingYou can feel the relaxing effect immediately, and continuous use for 2-4 weeks may bring a stable neuroregulatory effect.有Clinical studies indicate that the effects are more pronounced when used for more than 6 weeks.
- Does CES therapy have side effects?
CES is considered a highly safe technology with very minor possible side effects. A small number of people may experience temporary dizziness or a slight tingling sensation on the scalp, but they usually adapt quickly.
- Can CES completely replace drugs?
CES is not a drug, but it can be used as an adjunct technique to help relax and relieve stress. However, it cannot replace any medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription medication. For related health concerns, please consult a medical professional.
- When should I use CES?
It is recommended to use it four hours before sleep at night or when under high stress. For best results, use once daily for 20-60 minutes.
- Who is CES suitable for?
Mainly suitable forHigh stress, anxiety, poor sleep quality, chronic fatigue, and long-term tensionThis method is also suitable for those who wish to improve their focus and relaxation.
- Will CES affect daily activities?
CES will not affect normal activities, and may even...Use it while working, reading, or meditating. However, it is recommended not to use it while driving or operating machinery.
- What are the differences between CES therapy and regular electrotherapy?
Conventional electrotherapy (such as transcranial magnetic stimulation, TMS) uses high-intensity electromagnetic pulses, while CES uses extremely low-intensity microcurrents, making it more suitable for daily relaxation and regulation of the autonomic nervous system.
- Is CES really effective for insomnia?
Research shows that CES canIncrease serotonin, decrease cortisolIt helps stabilize sleep and improve sleep quality, especially for those with poor sleep quality caused by stress.
- Is CES suitable for long-term use?
Yes, CES is safe for long-term use and has been proven through multiple clinical studies to be a safe neuromodulation technology that does not cause dependence or resistance. Daily use can stabilize the nervous system and help the body maintain a good state.
- Is CES a medical device? Does it require a doctor's prescription?
The Anstem we use has obtained medical device approval in Taiwan and has undergone clinical trials to verify its safety. It is safe for home use, but it does not replace any medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription medication. For any disease-related health issues, we recommend that you consult a medical professional. We can recommend hospitals, clinics, or doctors familiar with CES.
- Can CES improve autonomic nervous system dysfunction?
CES is one way to help the nervous system return to balance. The recovery of the autonomic nervous system also requires healthy lifestyle habits, such as regular sleep, exercise, nutrition and other comprehensive management.
- Is there a dependency on CES?
CES does not cause dependence, and unlike drugs, long-term use will not affect the natural functioning of the nervous system.
- Will long-term use of CES lead to tolerance? Will it become ineffective later on?
No. Anstem's CES current is a complex wave, not the symmetrical wave of a typical electrotherapy device, and will not cause the body to develop tolerance. Therefore, it is not necessary to increase the power for long-term use.
- How do I operate this machine? Will it be complicated?
The CES device is easy to operate. We simply clip a pair of ear clips onto the earlobes, turn on the device, set the time and intensity, and it can be used without any professional skills.
- I am taking medication. Can CES be used with medication?
CES is a neuromodulation technology that can be used in conjunction with medication. If you have any concerns, we recommend that you consult a medical professional. We can recommend hospitals, clinics, or doctors familiar with CES.
- Do you offer rental options?
Yes, we offer monthly plans. You can contact our case manager by calling our toll-free consultation hotline at 0800-030-998.
- I've been using Ansitin for a while now, but I don't feel it's working. Why?
If you have been taking medication for a long time, your brain nerves may have already been affected by the medication, and it will take longer to regulate your brain nerves. It is recommended that you maintain the habit of using it once a day for 20 to 60 minutes to allow the nerve regulation effect to accumulate and achieve the desired effect.
- Would it be more effective to use it more than once a day?
In principle, it is sufficient to use it once a day for 20 to 60 minutes. The effect of neuromodulation will not be greater by extending the duration of a single use. If you feel emotionally stable when using CES, you can increase the use of CES by 1-2 times when you need to stabilize your emotions.
- How often should the cotton pads on the ear clips/probes be changed?
Change the ear clip cotton pads at least every 3 days and the probe cotton pads at least every 7 days to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Can it be used if there are implants (including metal) in the body?
If the implant is made of a non-metallic or low-conductivity metal (such as titanium), it can be used normally. However, if the implant is made of iron or other highly conductive metals, CES is not recommended because it may prevent the current from following the normal current path, resulting in a less than expected effect.
If a metal implant is placed in the brain, although the current flowing to the metal part may continue to generate heat, based on past clinical experience, there have been no cases of brain injury or major disasters reported.
If the metal implant is not located in the brain, it has almost no effect on CES.
Products containing batteries must be turned off before using CES and MET. If the device cannot be turned off, it is not recommended to use CES and MET to avoid damage to the device.
- What causes the host to emit a beeping sound when using AnSi timer?
The beep sound is a notification tone from the host computer and will be emitted in the following three situations:
- When the machine's battery level drops (from 4 bars to 3 bars, from 3 bars to 2 bars, and so on),
- When power is turned on
- When power is off
Possible reasons for power failure during use include:
- The two ear clips were not fully clipped onto the earlobes (in contact with the skin).
- Insufficient conductive liquid (apply conductive liquid to all four cotton pads): When the cotton pads are not sufficiently moistened, the current will stop flowing.
- Ear clip abnormality
- Host error
If you hear a beeping sound during use, you can try to rule out causes 1 and 2 (power outage). If the problem persists, please contact us for assistance with troubleshooting or to have the machine repaired.
- Is it permissible to bring Ansding on the plane?
If you need to take your equipment abroad, please follow the domestic entry and exit regulations at that time and properly carry the "batteries" and "conductive fluid" (in accordance with domestic battery and solution control regulations).
We recommend keeping the device in your carry-on luggage to avoid damage or loss caused by placing it in a suitcase.
If you need to bring English instruction documents, please prepare the following items:
- English instruction manual: An English instruction manual is included with the purchase of a new machine. If the English instruction manual has been lost, you can request an electronic or scanned copy from the service personnel.
- English diagnosis certificate: Please apply for it at the original medical institution and with your attending physician. The company cannot assist with the application process.
If the airline or the country you are entering has any additional requirements, you can provide us with a description of the document requirements (standard forms are preferred), and we will arrange for our staff to assist you.
